When light enters into our eyes – directly from the source or through reflection then we are able to see objects.
Some objects do not have the light of their own and so they are visible by the light that reflects from the surface of the object and comes into our eyes and some emit their own source of energy to make itself visible.

We are able to see because light from an object can move through space and reach our eyes.Once light reaches our eyes, signals are sent to the brain.
