JVM( Java Virtual Machinery) is the run time engine of Java platform which allows any programme written in Java or other language compiled into Java bytecode to run on any computer that has a native JVM, the compiled programme can be catched in the computer for reuse.
Bytecode is the compiled format of or Java programmes . Once a Java programme has been converted to Bytecode, it can be transferred across a network and executed by JVM.

JVM stands for Java Virtual machine.The devices which are equipped with interpreters that can read the byte code are Java Virtual machines.
Byte code is the complied format for Java programmes.The byte code is independent of the computer system it has to run upon.
