Bacterial cell do not have a nuclear membrane around the nuclear material. It lies naked in the cytoplasm. This type of cell is a prokaryotic cell. Whereas an onion peel cell has a well organized nucleus with a nuclear membrane. Such cell is called eukaryotic cell.

The substances like CO2 and H2O move in and out of a cell by diffusion from the region of high concentration to low concentration. When the concentration of CO2 and H2O is higher in external environment than that inside the cell, CO2 and H2O moves inside the cell.
