how biogas help to conserve fossil fule ?

by help of biogas we make food without use of fossils fuel (wood)

Rddm: Biogas is a mixture of methane,carbon dioxide,trace amounts of ammoniaand hydrogen sulphide.Using it as fuel provides energy that comes from biodegredable waste is known as renewable waste . Thus, biogas helps us to conserve fossil fuel

When the organic wastes like vegetable peels undergoes anaerobic respiration, gases like hydrogen,methane.carbon-dioxide are produced which can be used as energy .This is known as biogas .
Since , we don't need coal or petroleum to generate biogas , it saves fossil fuels .
