        Gestation period is a period when the viviparous animals fetus develops. Viviparous animals are those animals who give birth to individuals. The embryo carrying period is called gestation period. Gestation period is also calculated. From first day of female menstrual period.
        On over the earth, the longest gestation period animal has approximately 95 weeks. Means, 640-650 days. The elephant has longest gestation period on earth as it is a viviparous animal also.
        For humans, approximately gestation period is 40 weeks. In days, 250 days for humans. Mammals can have one or more gestation period during the same ongoing period. For some extra-ordinary carrier non-mammals animals has gestation periods.
