Boys And Girls Grow Up Differently Differently:-

  • At birth, the ordinary boy grows slightly faster than the ordinary girl, but the velocities fit equal at about seven months and then the girl starts growing faster until four years and from then till the period of adolescence no differences in velocity can be observed.

  • At adolescence, Boys have a considerable increase in muscle size and strength, together with a procession of physiological alterations making them competent in doing heavier physical work than girls and operating faster and longer. These changes all precisely adapt the male to his basic primate role of dominating, rebelling, and foraging.

  • The surge in muscle, of both limbs and heart, occurs simultaneously with the surge in skeletal growth, for both are caused by the same hormones but the Boys’ muscle widths surpass a peak velocity of growth that is greater than that reached by girls.
