burning of petroleum or its refining causes harm because when they are burned the chemicals which are released are very dangerous and causes air pollution and refining of petroleum is costly and a lot of natural resources will be wasted to produce such a temperature

Burning of petroleum releases harmful gases like carbon dioxide,carbon monoxide ,sulphur dioxide etc,. which causes air pollution.It causes the uv radiation to fall on earth by making hole in the ozone layer.It increase the greenhouse effect which further increase the level of global warming.
