How can a ball comes back without touching anything when it'd be hit 30 yards away?

here u can use spin technique like spinners use in cricket but u have to throw ball like leg spin or semi circle type
But how could it comes back without being collide with anything?

It's possible if ball is light and there was high intensity air..then it will come come backward
If u r talking about not touching anything
And air is also coming opposite side from ball
