Answer:

It gives you a sense of perspective. Philosophizing doesn’t merely deepens our understanding about something, but are made more aware about how something can be beneficial to us or not with a certain way peculiar to ourselves personally.

Whether we are using logical thinking, spirituality or any other means to understand something, but eventually, it must guide us to an essential (deeper) understanding about ourselves and place where we live and that can be used by us to make a better adjustment in all that we face.

One way is viewing events and circumstances with curiosity, for the best possibilities. For example, realizing that a failure contains more information than a success. If I discern the cause of the failure, I'm less likely to repeat it.

Another is realizing that feelings are transitory in nature, and often point to something within me that's asking for my attention. Transitory means that the feeling will pass, and I need not get stuck there. This requires a level of presence and self-awareness. When I give my attention to the feeling, I may just discover something about myself that I didn't know before.

Becoming aware of my thoughts as they occur allows me to know when my attention is scattered, and redirect it to better focus and concentrate on the topic at hand.

We can train ourselves to develop the faculties of our mind, our developed mind will allow us to accomplish great things.
