Teenage or Adolescence is the age when a child is in transition to becoming an adult. It is an age which is very challenging for both the teenager as well as parents. However, adults who are caregivers can help the teenagers cope with the transition better by being patient and caring. The following are some steps they can followed:

a) Adults should remind themselves that hormones play an important role in the behavioral changes and mood swings in teenagers.

b) Teenagers sometimes respond rudely during conversations. Adults should not react with the same tone as most of the times, the teenager does not mean to be rude. Teach them gently to tone their voice down and to breathe easy.

c) Send them for yoga or meditation classes to help them to be calm.

d) Destress them by showing lot of love and affection. Hugging your teenager to show your love can help them stay calm.

e) Don't judge them when they don't do well in academics or extra-curricular activities. They will learn gradually.

Each child is different. So understand the teenager before you help them.

Parents are the biggest support system that a child can have. All people whether they are children or adults,Always need parents support.

But teenagers are different.

Teenage is a very sensitive phase in a person's life.Teenge is a phase where children are neither a child nor an adult.

It is a bit tricky to handle them because they are highly sensitive and

are under a lot of peer pressure. There are lots of harmonal and biological changes.Their body is changing. They are constantly under pressure to look good.

Here the parents need to become friends with their children. If the parents will scold them it will just their egos.
