Respiration is the process by which burning foods produce energy.

Through chemical bonds, energy is stored in the glucose during cellular respiration.

The Adenosine Triphosphate also called as ATP is the energy material.

During Aerobic cell respiration oxygen is used to produce the Carbon dioxide, water & ATP molecules.

6O2 + C6H12O6 gives 6CO2 + 6H2O + ATP energy.

Anaerobic respiration does not require oxygen.

They use the method of Fermentation.
