paleontologists use fossils to remain understand different aspects of extinct and living animals or living organisms. individual fossils may contain the information about an organisms live and environment... studying oyster fossils can help paleontologists ,discover how long the oyster lived and in what conditions......

paleontology is the study of the history of life on earth as based on fossils. fossils are the remains of plant ,animals ,fungi, bacteria, one celled living things that have been replaced by rock materials or impression of organisms preserved in the rocks....
