The world we live in today has changed a lot from what it was ten or twenty years ago. distance between places has reduced, distance between hearts have increased. A place can be roughly termed as rural or urban on the basis of economy, resources, and its connection to the outer world. People in rural areas, or villages as they are commonly called have a tendency to migrate to the urban area or 'town' owing to the better facilities and luxuries of living there. The village dwellers are not to be blamed for this because everything they receive, including food, education, clothing and what not, is inferior when compared to what is received by the town people. The town people on the hand have a tendency to move to the villages, owing to all that wonderful naturality of the place. but one thing is to be kept in mind- the fact that "the grass is always greener on the other side." if a village dweller decides to  migrate to a town with his family, there are a lot of odds- he is not familiar with the ways of the town. And if a town man decides to move to the village, chances being much much less, he would never be able to leave his luxurious life behind and so would create nothing short of a havoc there. Therefore in a nutshell, if migration of people from towns and villages is prohibited, the existing equilibrium will be peacefully maintained.

PS: If this was an argumentative essay, I would never chose to support this statement.
