Working for the above question can be simply shown in one line.

It is as followed -6.2 + 2.9 = -4.7, since 6.2 is larger among the 2 numbers hence negative sign would be dominant in the answer so it would clearly be -4.7.

Also -4.7 is the subtracted answer to the question.
