yes, sleeping can be harder than we think it is... one way that i suggest doing is : try counting the numbers backwards and eventually you will feel sleepy OR
if there are thoughts that are in your head and they don't let you sleep, take a notebook and note those points down, this will help you to feel like that burden is gone.
OR
take deep breaths..
if any of these may not work, it could be insomnia ; if this problem affects your normal daily routine, try checking this out with a doctor.
