Uttar Pradesh is the most populated state of India and the state with large scales of poverty and a large portion of people practicing subsistence farming. It is has a humid sub-tropical climate and has dry winters. The people are not well-educated (but since I've not been there I don't know their attitude towards tourists). It is known for the Taj Mahal. It is well-connected with Delhi by the Yamuna Expressway and also to other Urban regions by an advanced network of Rail and Road networks.
