Hey mate..!!

Here you go..!!

=====================================================

✳Iron articles when corrodes form rust.

✳Rust-a flaky material reddish-brown in colour which sheds
after sometime.

✳To prevent iron from being rusted..

1)ALLOYING-

Mixing iron with other metals to prevent rusting is alloying.
For eg..STAINLESS STEEL(an alloy of iron with carbon
and certain other elements ) checks the corrosion.

2)PAINTING-

Applying a coat of paint on iron articles also prevent
it as it cuts the contact of air with iron.

3)GALVANISATION-

Applying a coat of Zinc on the iron articles is known as
galvanisation.

4)TINNING-

Coating iron with tin is known as tinning.Galvanisation
is better than tinning.

5)GREASING-

A thin coat of grease checks rusting of iron as it removes
the direct contact of air and moisture .

HOPE IT HELPS
