a light can be bent if there is refraction.....

the bending of a light ray when it goes from one transparent medium to another is called refraction.

anni5580: when a ray of light goes from optically rarer medium to optically denser medium, the light ray bends towards the normal and when light ray goes from optically denser to optically rarer medium, the light ray bends away from the normal. it is just a law of refraction

Hey Friend, Here's Your Answer

Light Can Be Bend Through A Phenomenon
Called Refraction Of Light.

It's definition is : The Bouncing of Off Light is known as refraction of light, When It travels from one medium to another medium

We can see this phenomenon, By dipping a straw in Water Beaker.

The Straw looks bent Due to Refraction Of Light

Hope this helps
Thanks

parthcreator: Why does the transition of the medium of which light is travelling cause it to bend?
Anonymous: Because, When Light Travels from 1 medium to another, It appears us that light is bending
Anonymous: But actually its not
Anonymous: It just appears
