how can mosquito identify us night?
why does it make buzzing or whining sound near our ear?

Mosquito have many methods to identify us:-

1. Our Heat signature {they have vision which allows them to identify heat}
2. They can detect our exhaled/expired CO2
3. They can detect the odor of CO2 too.
4. They can detect Perspiration/sweating too.

Buzzing sound is just created by their wings.. its just that we are able to hear it more perfectly when they are near our ears because its too low.. its around 40 decibels for comparision i can tell you that our whisper is about 30 decibel....
