If you want to go in civil services then first of all you should supposed have a brilliant general knowledge skills and also should be updated to the latest trendy news going around. Definitely, you should also have good vocabulary and English. Coz you are going to be a bureaucrat then obviously you should have the idea that how to represent your country and our country's key features , diplomacy , its passion and everything.
And yeah the most predominant thing you have to pass a competitive exam that is the UPSC Examination.
And you really need to work hard with heavy research and highly concentrated towards your motto. A good suggestion for you from my side, just stick to yourself and have that ME TIME...And trust me you are the next IAS officer.
