Nowadays it is quite common to see some promising youth getting misguided and ruining their complete future. We see very nice students getting involved in violent activities suddenly. More so we have also seen good promising students in Kashmir turning in to the terrorist. Why this happens? It happens because of faulty persuasion tactics. It is very important to understand how one can avoid such persuasion tactics so that one can secure one's future from getting destroyed.
There is a very easy but important technique that can be applied for avoiding ticked by faulty persuasion tactics. If you want to avoid getting persuaded by others than you must be persuaded by yourself. It requires alertness.It requires strong connection to your values, mission and vision. Step by step process is mentioned below -
1. Sit alone in a quite room or better go to the nature at the time of sun rise or sun set.
2. Think about what is your reason. What do you want to become in your life. What will bring most happiness to you. Think about who are the most important persons in your life. Think about how successful you want to be and in which field. Where do you want to see in next 5, 10, 15 years from now?
3. Write down all these questions and give answers to them in writing.
4. After this exercise you will be able to generate your priorities in life.
5. Go through this page daily, memorize it.
6. Daily try to make a plan towards actualizing this mission of yours.
7. Daily try to take a step however small it may be towards your achieving your mission.
When you will complete the above exercise you will know your vision, mission and objectives. We get persuaded by others when we do not have our own goals in front of us. Once we create our goals anything that does not support our goals is discarded. No matter how much others might try to persuade us by faulty tactics, we will not get ticked because of our connection with our mission. This is the most proper way to avoid being ticked by faulty persuasion tactics.
