How can physical states of matter be changed by changing pressure? Explain

Variations is pressure, can result in drastic changes in the state of matter...if pressure is intense then the matter can EITHER annihilate with its atomic systems or it generated plasmionic ions as the pressure is reduced gradually, then states of matter transforms aslike,gas to liquid to solid.
