DANIEL CELL:
Daniel cell was first made using a elechemical reaction between ions of  Zn-Cu.But later it was found that because of Cu²⁺ crossover induced self-discharge and un-rechargeable characteristic.

DEVELOPMENT:
Hence the cell was rebuilt using a ceramic
Li-ion exchange film to separate Cu and Zn electrodes for preventing Cu²⁺ crossover between two electrodes.  Li ions in the cathodic room diffuse to the anodic room through the LATSP ceramic film to balance the charges. Simultaneously, electrons are transferred from Cu cathode to Zn anode through the outer circuit. Discharge reverses the charge process, and is similar with conventional Daniell cell.

*LATSP=
 Li1+x+yAlxTi2-xSiyP3-yO12 it is a super-ionic conductor)
EFFECT:
Hence the battery was made highly efficient ,renewable, reusable, low toxicity and environmentally friendly.

EQUATION:
primitive:     anode:Zn
→Zn²⁺+2e⁻
                cathode:Cu²⁺+2e⁻→Cu

Modern: overall reaction:[Cu+2LiNO₃]+Zn(NO₃)⇆Cu(NO₃)₂+[2LiNO₃+Zn]

vishagh: in the development part ...
vishagh: by using aLi ion ceramic lfilm
vishagh: LATSP i m not sure, jst learnt it,its just a kind of film i guess
Anonymous: isn't their any natural process
vishagh: just googled and found, wait i ll edit it
vishagh: natural process may be there, but u said all other things same
Anonymous: even u have copied it from internet(google)....... and ur answer by using Li ion is wrong
Anonymous: thanks ......u tried ur best But i didn't understand
vishagh: well if u are allowed to change other things i would say:1)changing electrolyte with more conductivity
vishagh: 2)increasing the volume of electrolysis solution 3)using Li-ion as is most reducing ...thts all i can say
