How can u say that respiration is also a type of combustion?

Cellular respiration is like combustion because whether it is a log or the food we intake, it has a high energy until it is broken down.

Explanation:

In any combustion reaction co2 and h2o and energy is released.

So in respiration oxygen combines with glucose in cell to produce h20 ,co2 and energy. So we can say that respiration is a type of combustion reaction.

C6H12O6 +O2> Co2 + h20 + energy
