Sodium Chloride is a salt because Sodium chloride is formed when HCL react with NaOH and both are strong acid and strong base.

HCl+ NaOH----- NaCl + H2O.

Hey dear!!❤

here is your answer:
______________________

Sodium chloride (Common Salt) is formed by the neutralisation reaction between Hydrochloric acid and Sodium hydroxide.

Since there are 3 kinds of salts

1. acidic salt: Formed with strong acid and week base
2. Basic salt: Formed with strong base and week acid
3. Neutral salt: Formed with acids and bases which are equally strong.

We can say that NaCl (Sodium chloride) is formed of strong acid and strong base because It's a neutral salt.
