1.) Be ruthless with yourself so you close all the loopholes and back doors that you typically use to sell out on yourself. You know better than anyone what you do to sabotage yourself.  2.) Put structures in place that address the specific things that you do - there are several lists in this post with suggestions. It’s less important that you follow a given system - those are sort of like diets - and more important that you hold yourself accountable by implementing there things that kill off your own aliveness.  3.) If you need a jumpstart, try going to a weekend seminar like the Landmark Forum, which can help you see what you do in a whole new light. If not that, try GTD - Getting Things Done by david Allen. He has books and seminars and plenty of aids to help you change the way you run your life. Better yet, do both of those.  4.) As an ex-corporate trainer for 30 years, I haven’t seen much lasting change from most standard time-management classes. Save your money. Take on some way of doing things that is a whole person lifestyle change. Mostly, nothing else works - sort of like AA for the motivationally or productivity challenged people in the world. (There’s a lot of us!)  5.) Put things in place and try them out. If they fail (which is actually you failing yourself), don’t just give up. Try something else. If all else fails, go back to #3 above and do the Forum or some similar program. Fall down 7 times, get up 8!  Good luck!
