Weeds can be control by following ways :-

1) Mechanical methods: By weeding, removing weeds from crop Fields by harrow, interculture ploughing, burning and flooding.

2) Chemical methods: Using chemicals called herbicides or weedicides e.g., 2,4-D , Nitrofen, Atrazine.

3) Biological methods: Employ living organisms to destroy weeds.
