how can we determine north and south pole of an electromagnet with the help of magnetized iron bar​

Bring the North pole of bar magnet near the electromagnet. If electromagnet is attracted towards the bar magnet then that end is South pole and other is North. If it is repulsed then the end is North pole and other is South pole.
