How can we determine the reactivity towards nucleophilic substitution reaction?

in SN1 reaction.... nucleophile is weak so 3 degree alkyl group is more reactive and this rexn done in poar protic medium where's SN2 reaction the attacking nucleophile is strong and rxn done in polar aprotic medium so 1 degree alkhyl halide is more stable toward SN2
