ALSO AS BOTH TRUE SOLUTIONS AND COLLOIDS LOOK THE SAME ONLY COLLOIDS CAN SHOW TYNDALL EFFECT(SCATTER LIGHT) WHEREAS TRUE SOLUTIONS DO NOT SHOW TYNDALL EFFECT WHICH CAN BE SEEN IN ABOVE DIAGRAM

2 IN SMOKE THE DISPERSED PHASE IS SOLID AND DISPERSING MEDIUM IS GAS

IN FOG AND CLOUD DISPERSED PHASE IS LIQUID AND DISPERSING MEDIUM IS GAS.

3 COLLOIDAL SOLUTIONS LOOK AS HETEROGENEOUS AS THEY R UNIFORM THROUGHOUT BUT R CONSIDERED AS HETEROGENEOUS AS THE PARTICLES R BIG ENOUGH TO SCATTER LIGHT THROUGH THEM. WHEREAS HETEROGENEOUS MIXTURE HAVE VERY SMALL PARTICLES WHICH DO NOT SCATTER LIGHT.
