Answer: You can find out the pi-bond and sigma bonds by observing the given compund.
If the compound is unsaturated(double/triple bond) then it must have pi-bond.
The compounds which are saturated compounds(single bonded) always have sigma bonds. Saturated compounds/single bonded compounds never have pi bond.
If you see an extra bond than single bond, it means that extra bond is pi-bond.
Example: CH₄
Here, CH₄ is having four single bonds as it is a saturated compound.
