how can we find the valency of polyatomic ions like SO4, SO3, CO3,PO4 etc.?

HEY mate it's ur ans.....
kisi b element ki valency find krne k liye, uske atomic no. ko K L M shells me fit Krna pdta h... aur jitte b shells last shell me aye vahi uski valency hoti h... aur agr 1,2,3,4 tak aye to positive m ata h... aur agr 5,6,7,8tak aye to us no. ko eight se minus ker dete h.. aur Vo no. negative m a jata h

as we know that the atomic no. of aluminum is 17
so, k shell=2
L shell=8
m shell=7
so only one is left.... then 8-7=-1
