sweetie1108: See mostly the equations can be solved by simple hit and trial and then factorisation. But the problem occurs when real roots don't exist that is you can factorise them to two quadratic polynomials but not to monomial or a monomial and a trinomial. In that case I suggest to differentiate the polynomial and just locate it's Maxima and minima. May be you can plot a rough graph based on what you got. Then by looking at the graph it will be easier for you to guess a way to factorise.
