Answer:

We should not put any garbage on the platform itself..

We should put it in a garbage bin.

Really a very good question. My appreciation. In a vast country like ours the millions travelling at any given time, it's futile, rather impractical, to expect to the government to do everything for us. As a responsible citizen, if we can do our small bit, things will automatically fall in place with little intervention by authorities. By far, this is the easiest way to keep our surroundings, let alone railway stations, clean and tidy.

The simple ways are: Let's resolve that we travel as light as possible, that we don't spill liquids all over, that we don't waste food in the first place and if at all we have to, we see to it that it's disposed of only in the trash cans, this holds good for the cutlery as well; that we carry sufficient paper bags and use them to dump the water generated while on trains and hand them over to OBHK (on-board keeping) personnel or even better that we drop them again in the trash cans, especially those tea bags, cups, plates, newspapers, groundnut shells,etc..., and, last but indefinitely not the least, that we don't urinate/defecate on or by the walls and on trains while at a shop

I think the above isn't difficult at all and very much doable by everyone. This small bit will definitely translate into clean stations. Thanks for listening

I HOPE IT'S HELP YOU
