One of the reason for sleep is to remove the toxins from your body. And this happens in cycles. Normally the cycle completes in around 40 minutes. So if you have six of these cycles, then you are good. But you need to prep your body for this:
1. Put a yellow bulb/lightin your room. Download f.lux application on your mobile and laptop. This dims the light and removes white light that inhibits the production of melatonin in your body. Melatonin helps you sleep like a baby and that's why in the day you dont feel sleepy coz of the white light from the sun.
2. Eat an early dinner, I would suggest nearly three hours before. Eat light dinner like a lettuce salad. If you have a good digestion, chances are that the salad will come out of your body before you sleep. This helps the body to relax in the night and not running around trying to digest the food you ate before bed. This extra activity also makes the body tiered.
3. Given your goal, sleep at the exact time everyday and wake up at around +/- 30 minutes the time you decided. Download any sleepbot application if you use android. It will monitor your body activity and your snores to optimize your waking up time. This is a great way I ended up my insomnia and I see that it may help you as well. 4. Read some fiction before you sleep and never think about important plans and problems in life before going to bed. Never check emails, answer phones, check whatsapp, Facebook within one hour of hitting the bed. Instead, read some fiction, it will make you creative and release any extra tension or stress before sleep.

i also use 5 hours to sleep but sometimes...i feel more sleepy
