Our Government of India has appointed the Mandel commission to work for the welfare of the SCs.One of it renowned step is that 27% of the civil posts are reserved for SCs.

In todays society not every person from this group is facing the same problem that others are facing from this same group.
So some steps which can be taken for their interests are:
■ if any child are this group tries for admission in any naming school, so his or her fees must diminish in some ratios.
■ Unployeed men or women must get employment to fulfil their basic needs.
■ At places where still untouchability is practiced that should be forbidden.
