In the poem 'The Brook' penned by Alfred Lord Tennyson, the speaker personifies itself as a brook, that rises from a spot of water birds. It describes its passage through deep valleys, forests and plains. Sometimes it trembles with a slip and slide with a soft murmur. And at times, as fast as lightening where it cuts many curves on its banks. In between, it carries somethings and leave somethings. Similarly, in a man's extraordinary life too, we go everywhere. Sometimes ghastly or tenderly. We meet and divorce people. Alike the brook, we travel and live the days and nights. Thus in all, life is a journey.
