Patol Babu had an artist’s mind and heart. He was very emotional and the moment he realised that he was supposed to utter just one syllable ‘Oh!’, he wanted to quit. He felt he had been taken for a ride and didn’t wish to look like a fool. But then the advise of his mentor makes him stay and do the job perfectly. Patol Babu does complete the assignment but he cannot be called practical. He labours and sweats too much for fraction of a scene and then walks away without taking the money. He felt  perfection and dedication couldn’t be measured by twenty or fifteen rupees.

So, Yes we can say him as a practical man as he adjusts the situation and did his best.

:) Hope this Helps !!!

HEY , HERE'S THE ANSWER ⏬

Patal Babu carries so many wonderful human traits in him . His ordinary appearance is a deceptive one as we find him to be an extraordinary human being and more so and extraordinary actor . He is kind hearted, committed, friendly, punctual, dedicated, meticulous and to certain extent a perfectionist. He is very passionate of acting and his involvement and preparation for the same role is an evidence of it . For him personal satisfaction holds more important than money and that's why he leaves the shooting place without getting paid.

Hence from these lines we understand that Patol babu was a practical minded man.

HOPE IT HELPS YOU !!!
