How can we say that the given table is cumulative or frequency.

If less than or more than is given like less than 30 or more than 20..that means the given frequency is Cumulative Frequency. .....And if simple class intervals like 20 - 30 are given...then it is the frequency..

There's a specific for that which is:-

  • if the word in the question is given less than or more than, it means the given frequency is cumulative frequency. for eg-

less than 30 or more than 30 is given

  • and if just simple intervals for example class intervals are given then it is frequency. for eg-

20-30 are given
