Sugar is soluble in alcohols while salt is not. Simply mix the two in alcohol and filter the solution to get the salt. Then evaporate the alcohol sugar mixture and you will be left with the sugar. Done.

Sugar is soluble in alcohol and salt doesnt dissolve. So mix both salt and sugar and filter it. Salt is separated and is found on the filter paper. Let the alcohol be evaporated and we are left with sugar.
