how can we seperate powdered chalk and sugar

by the process of filtration when we dissolve water with sugar and chalk powder after forming the mixture we can seperate using filtration cloth

Sugar dissolves completely in water, whereas, chalk does not. The sediment collected on the cloth/filter paper, is the wetchalk powder. Keep it in the sun to get drychalk powder. Heat the filtrate (Sugarsolution) carefully to evaporate the water.
