Sharing God’s Bounty is still serving dinners on Tuesday evenings!!
However, during this Coronavirus Pandemic, to preserve the health of our guests and our volunteers, we are observing State guidelines and have temporarily suspended our sit-down dinners in the gym.
Nevertheless, every Tuesday between 6 PM and 7 PM we will be distributing to any and all our guests a take-out, sack dinner consisting of two sandwiches, a granola bar, fruit, chips and cookies.
We will be distributing these dinners promptly at 6 PM outside in the east parking lot to all guest whether driving, biking or walking. Please do not come before 6 PM because we are trying do discourage guests congregating before the dinners are ready and we can start distributing them.
We hope and pray that, by strictly observing the recommendations of the health experts, we will soon be able to resume our regular, hot, nutritious meals in the gym.
Meanwhile, if you are hungry on Tuesday evening, please accept our take-out dinner accompanied by our love and prayers that you remain healthy.

Welcome to Sharing God's Bounty!
Welcome to Sharing God's Bounty. If you are hungry and would like a nutritious hot meal on Tuesday evening, or if you are a volunteer and would like a warm and hospitable setting to offer your services, you have found the right place. Sharing God's Bounty serves free, hot meals from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM every Tuesday in the multi-purpose room at St. Philomene School, 2320 El Camino Ave just east of the corner of Bell and El Camino.
Although some folks call us a "soup kitchen," we have never served soup. Instead, we have always offered a complete, nutritious, well-balanced meal: a main course that always includes meat, a salad and/or a vegetable or fruit, a starch, and bread, along with drinks of milk, coffee and/or juice.
We take our ministry seriously. We like to demonstrate that we serve dignity, and along with dignity we offer a hot meal.
While we serve in a Catholic School gym, our meals are non-denominational, i.e. our guests and our volunteers come from all walks of life and can be members of any religious denomination or none at all. The only requirement for our guests is that they be hungry. The only requirement for our volunteers is that they have a loving heart.
St. Francis said, "Preach the Gospel at all times and, if necessary, use words." At Bounty we believe that after serving our guests a great meal with dignity and a warm smile, words are unnecessary.
