Clothes should be washed regularly and maintained well. We should wear clean and comfortable clothes. Dirty clothes gives bad odour, breed germs and causes diseases. We should not Lend or borrow clothes.

This could lead to passing of infections easily. Cotton clothes need to be ironed after every wash to remove wrinkles.

Woolen clothes and silken clothes should be dried in the sun to kill germs. Napthalaene balls are used to prevent damage to clothes by insects.
