You can start by remebering how you spent the day before you found out you  got a scholarship.

Remember to describe how you prepared yourself for the scholarship.

Also write how you felt when you got your scholarship , how was your reaction? How did you feel? Remember to answer these questions.

Remeber your diary entry should make the reader visualise this event.

Then lastly write what havee you been doing since then.

( keep your word limit in mind)
