This right includes equality “before law", "prohibition of discrimination" on the grounds of race, religion, gender, and caste or birth place. Individually, as a citizen of the country we can contribute to the promotion of equality in various ways. For example, we can start by not discriminating between a man and a woman when it comes to salaries, or wages. We can start by providing education to both boys and girls.
