Answer:
Though his ideas were controversial, Sigmund Freud was one of the most influential scientists in the fields of psychology and psychiatry. It has been over 100 years since Freud published his theories, yet he still influences what we think about personality and the mind.

Freudian ideas are not completely scientific
- Freud was an Australian neurologist and founder of psychoanalysis.
- Freud used to produce a theory and work backward, to find proofs to substantiate it.
- If he finds some contradictions or when some others point out contradictions, he used to ignore them.
- Science is not like that.
- For a theory to become law it should be supported with strong experimental proof.
- Even if there are many pieces of evidence to support the theory, if just one proof is there against the theory, it won't become law.
- So I don't think Freudian methods are scientific.
- It was unproven then.
- But today some of his theories are proved by experimental research.
- So we can not deny the scientific side of Freudian ideas.
