Contact force is generally generated due to friction force and normal reaction but field force is applied between two objects,it may be any two object of universal I.g. gravitational force

The force that is generated due to contact of two particles is called contact forces for example the tension in a wire or friction between particles come under contact forces. When the field forces are the kind of Forces which do not need any kind of contact between the particles and still act same for example the gravitational pull of earth acts similarly on all particle that is in contact or that is not in contact with earth.
