How can you differentiate pri sec tert amines using hinsberg reagent?

The Hinsberg reagent is benzene sulfonyl chloride. it is used to distinguish between primary, secondary and tertiary amine. In this test, the amine is treated with Hinsberg’s reagent [benzene sulphonyl chloride] and shaken with aqueous KOH solution when the three amines behave in different ways.

1°amine + Hinsberg reagent + KOH = it is clear solution. reaction of sequence shown above.

2°amine + Hinsberg reagent + KOH = insoluble compound is visible. reaction seuqence shown below..

3°amine + Hinsberg reagent + KOH = insoluble compound is visible but dissolved in excess of HCl. shown below.
