How can you drop two eggs the fewest amount of times, without them breaking?

Answer:The iteration should be started from the lowest floor by dropping the egg. The floor it got broken is the first floor in which the egg will be broken and the previous floor becomes the highest floor in which the egg can be dropped without breaking it and you need just ONE egg to find it.

Answer:

Like Gobbi suggested, starting at the bottom, drop the egg from every 2nd floor until you find where it breaks. Worst case, you will find it breaks on the top floor (N/2), and then need one more drop of the other egg on the next floor down to see if that's the floor that breaks the egg. 2.
