how can you find the value of displacement covered by a particle during the given time from its velocity time graph

Just find area under v - t graph which gives you the displacement

We should consider the shortest distance to cover the path in the graph and then ,
displacement = velocity / time from this we can know the magnitude of the displacement and with the help of graph we can be able to determine the direction in which the particle is moving also
